This was our AMAZING #100 & #101 performance sponsored by AARP and in part by Arts Fairfax! Attendees witnessed uplifting dance and live music that made hearts beat with joy.  "Heart Beats"  premiered three new choreographed pieces titled Steam Heat, Inherited Heart , and Tango - alongside with HHA's repertoire classics Ragtime, Zing, and Prayer.  Our community partners included the Minh Vo Jazz Trio, Sopranessence, and Maria Luisa de la Cerda Rohde on flute, and the  Lincolnia Senior Tappers (taught by Sue Skaddan & Kathy Bova).  Helping Hearts dancers performed numerous styles of dance, including contemporary ballet, modern, musical theater, and tap. This event included a pre-performance photo opportunity with dancers and live hand-pan music with Erik Rasmus.  It was a day to remember for a very long time!
